INNOVI's annual viticulture day focuses on sulphur

Nearly 150 professionals from the wine world responded to the proposal of the Catalan Wine Cluster, on the balance in the vineyard, focusing mainly on sulphur and its alternatives.

AFEPASA CEO, Manel Montaño, opened the conference with the inaugural lecture explaining the origin and applications of sulphur as a phytosanitary product, but also in its lesser known line of fertilization and biostimulation.

The day continued with renowned professionals from the wine sector analysing sulphur in organic farming, different uses in vines, as well as possible alternatives. For more information about the conference go to the INNOVI website.
