OBJECTIVE:

• To verify the effectiveness of Microsul 40S as a soil amendment, correcting the existing limestone and salinity conditions.
• Greenhouse. Winter cycle. (0.8 x 1.50 m) 8,000 plants/Ha.
• Soil analyses were performed at the beginning of the trial and one month after application.

CONCLUSIONS

• The reduction in conductivity translates into improved growing conditions, with the treated area exhibiting a more vigorous appearance during the month following application.
• The harvests are more uniform, with a slight increase (approximately 6%) in fruit within the desired commercial size (14 to 30 cm), thus preventing fruit loss due to undersized fruit.
• Due to the constant salt content in the irrigation water, maintenance applications are recommended every 30-40 days.
