AFEPASA, new Premium company of the Tarragona Chamber of Commerce

An agreement by which AFEPASA will support those initiatives that are promoted by the Corporation of Tarragona in terms of economic dynamism, territorial structure and promotion of company internationalisation.

AFEPASA is a family business founded in 1893 in Tarragona. Specialised in the production and distribution of sulphur, it offers comprehensive solutions to the agricultural sector with sustainable solutions, which has allowed it to be a leader in the domestic market and to export to nearly 75 countries around the world. Sulphur has also become a basic element for the chemical industry.

AFEPASA is governed by a series of commitments, which are reflected in its management policy, and which particularly care for the environment, certified with the bronze medal of EMAS and ISO 14001; quality with certification 9001; and the occupational health and safety of its workers, certified with OSHAS 18001.

Located in the Constantí Industrial Estate, AFEPASA celebrates its 125th anniversary with new plant expansion projects in order to provide a more efficient response to the growth it is experiencing in both the domestic and international markets. With the Premium agreements, the institution presided by Laura Roigé is creating a series of synergies with the main companies in the regions of Tarragona, or with those with interests in the territory, thus achieving the necessary strength to continue making the Chamber of Tarragona a proactive reference of civil society in the promotion of the economy and to the service of entrepreneurship.
