Improvement of yield, vigor and seed weight in peas
The objective of this trial is to measure the improvement in yield, vigor and seed weight, with 2 applications of Organosul KS in pea cultivation.
Location: Toledo. Applications: 2 foliar applications (April 6 and April 25).
Regarding the pods:
- Two hundred pea pods were randomly collected from each plot to assess seed quantity, weight, and length.
- A 21% increase in length was observed in T1 compared to the control pods, and a 43% increase in length was observed in T2.
- Regarding vigor, treatments T1 and T2 showed better color and more developed leaves and stems. A notable difference in size was observed between the control and treated leaves.
Regarding germination:
- The seed population was evaluated by opening the pods and counting the number of viable seeds inside, achieving an increase of more than 15% in the treated plots compared to the control plots.
Regarding weight
- The weight of the peas was the final measurement, showing a 22% increase in T1 and a 55% increase in T2. This is a significant increase that will be noticeable in terms of yield.
